I love stumbling upon new bands.
I especially love having the option to download their brand new EP for the amazing price of whatever-the-hell-I-want. The music industry nerd in me wants to go on a tangent about how awesome being able to name your price to download music is and why…But I’m not going to do that…Well, I’m at least not going to do that today.
Instead I’m going to talk about the band I discovered this afternoon.
Meet Move Like Music, a rock/alternative rock group out of southern California that just released their first five-song self-titled EP yesterday, April 17th. According to the official website it took awhile to establish a final line up. But they became a solid rock group that’s going to do well if they play their cards right. To best describe their sound, I’d say they’re a cross between Incubus and maybe Thrice.
I’m loving this EP and now I’m curious to see how they do live. Unfortunately the website doesn’t list any upcoming shows, but I’ll be checking back when the summer tour season gets underway.
The EP can be heard in its entirety and be downloaded here.
If you’re unfamiliar with downloading music (it’s OK – I won’t tell anyone if you are), go here for more specific instructions.
