Eufera ’09

by: David Gerhard

Of all the bands I went to see, I was not ready for Eufera. I don’t listen to much, if any, recent feminine rock. So, I’m sorry if my views are a little narrow, but I’ll do my best to give them what they earned. With that being said, musicaly I really didn’t mind Eufera. Dani Black (vocalist) has a very extensive vocal range but, listening to her live, it seemed quite sporadic at times. If you listen carefully, you can really hear which band have influenced Eufera. Eufera is a well assembled band. Punctual and in sync gurarists (Dave Craton, David Kittelson, Brad Kletzin), rhythmic yet adaptable drumer (Eli Johnson) playing along side a piano playing singer made for a very good show. Eufera is a band that has emerged with a very great radio sound that that fits in with the up roar of female vocalist. This up roar for bands like Eufera was show by the crowds enthusiasm which made it hard for Eufera to want to stop playing. Eufera gave the drunken crowd every thing they hade and never stoped playing with smile. Half the battle band have is finding comfort on stage and this band was right at home on stage. I will expect to hear more from Eufera and so should you.
