There for Tomorrow interview

Where are you from?
We’re from Orlando, Florida.

Describe your sound.
Melodic rock.  We’re not gonna throw you any weird words.  We’re a rock band.

Is there any story behind your band name?
Not really, we were just brainstorming names and There For Tomorrow, it’s simple and it just kinda represents what we wanna do with our music and what’s to come.  It’s simple and straight forwardkinda how we want to be.

How long has your band been together?
The four of us have been together 3 years, but before that Jay, Maika and Chris have been playing together since they were 13.  I (Christian) came into the band about three years ago, and we’ve been There For Tomorrow ever

What are your plans for after Warped Tour?
Actually, today is our last day on Warped Tour.  We have tomorrow off then we start a tour with a band called Ivoryline, off of Tooth and Nail, and that runs through August into September.  Then we have a fall tour with Anberlin in October and November.

Who is your favorite band on this tour?
I really love 3OH3.  My favorite band, that I hadn’t actually heard until we got on Warped Tour is HorrorPops, I saw them a couple of days ago, they blew my mind, it was unreal.  They are awesome.

Do you have any plans for careers after music?
All of us kinda have things that we do on the side.  Our singer was originally into producing and engineering.  Jay multitasks, he can do a lot of things.  I think mainly we all just think this is our plan for a certain amount of time and then maybe we’ll move on to other stuff.

How old are you guys?
All of us are 19, except for Jay, who’s 21.  Still young.

Have you had any out of the ordinary experiences since you’ve been out on tour?
Warped Tour is out of ordinary in itself.  Everything is weird.  People have followed us after the shows, like when we’re going out to eat.  One girl drew a really cool picture of all of us, but that’s about it.
